Footage shows Gaddafi's bloodied body.
But is he really dead?

As news broke of former Libyan dictator Colonel Muammar Gaddafi's death, Al Jazeera broadcast graphic video shot on a mobile phone apparently confirming his death.
The graphic clip, which was subsequently rebroadcast on other networks and is embedded at the bottom of this post, showed the leader naked, limp and bloodied and surrounded by fighters in the street.
It also appeared to show the former leader, who was identifiable mainly by his long hair and clipped beard, being dragged, kicked and mocked by shouting NTC fighters.
Gaddafi appeared to be bleeding from several wounds, though it was not possible to confirm independently that he was definitely dead.

On September 27th, my friend Cassady Taylor will be joining Festival of Children Foundation to ride the Carousel of Possible Dreams at South Coast Plaza to raise $10,000 for the Pediatric Cancer Research Foundation (PCRF).
100% of what he raises will go to PCRF - supporting their dream to fund every research proposal they receive in hope of finding a cure for pediatric cancer.
My friend Cassady Taylor will be riding the Carousel in honor of one of the most brave and compassionate kids I've ever met, Ryan Lynn Hendershot. On April 27th, 2010, at age 4 1/2 years old, Ryan was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (exactly 17 months to the day of the Carousel of Possible Dreams event). Now with over 16 months of intense chemotherapy behind her, Ryan still has two more years of treatment ahead. Although her treatment has been filled with a host of side effects and extended hospital stays, Ryan has managed to remain one of the happiest kids on Earth! Her spirit is unbreakable and her heart is just as big as it was before she got sick.

The eight members of an Amish sect who were ordered jailed by a Kentucky judge after they refused to pay fines for failing to affix orange safety triangles to their horse-drawn buggies.
The men, who were booked Monday night into the Graves County jail, refused to pay the fines on grounds that their religion bars them from wearing or displaying bright colors. Jailed for misdemeanor contempt of court, the inmates were provided dark-colored jumpsuits in place of the standard issue orange coveralls.
The defendants were hit with a range of time in the county lockup (between three and 10 days) by District Court Judge Deborah Hawkins Crook.

I was asked by Omega Events to emcee Doheny Days 2011.
Video opens to me being boo'ed after taking JJ Grey and Mofro off stage and not bringing them back on for an encore. But with the help of Rich Sherman's daughters and friends we stoked the crowd out with a fat box of Etnies tee shirts, Vans trucker hats, and 10 hot pairs of Native Shoes thanks to Archie's Ice Cream for the hookups!
